I know that we are miles apart,
But look deep within your heart,
And you will see that I am there,
With my love I want to share.
Like sweet whispers late at night,
You bring to my heart a sweet delight,
The warmth of your warm embrace,
The loving smile upon your face.
I dream of you night and day,
For you give love in a special way,
The sweetest love beyond compare,
Has turned into something so truly rare.
I see the love deep within your soul,
Your love for me makes me whole,
I have never felt a love like this,
A love I can feel with just a kiss.
A love I can feel in your touch,
Something that I miss so much.
A love I can see in your eyes,
One that was quite a surprise.
Our love may have begun unexpectedly,
Looking into my future you are all I see.
I want to spend my life with you,
To do all the things we wish to do.

Father, you were always there,
You always showed me how much you care.
You were the bread winner of the family,
Now, I know how men should be.

You always tucked me in my bed,
And kept a roof over my head.
I remember well our family trips,
And how you bought me double dips.

You were always firm, but not too bold,
You made our house warm, not cold.
I love you more than words can say,
In my heart you will forever stay.
